Here's the reason why many are still confused about Wiki-Leaks

Magnifying Wiki-Leaks for what it is.

Here's the reason why many are still confused about Wiki-Leaks and its destructive path: The idea behind it is a theory which reveals life should be an open book. In that way of thinking, everything that is said, and done should be immediately disclosed to everyone.

This doctrine assimilates: 1) There should be no secret agreements, deeds or conversations; and 2) All dialogue shall be public. These are fanatical viewpoints. It's naive while being puritan like to conclude that no one should have anything to hide. Rather, it rather petulant and child like.

The actual effect of Wiki Leaks is rather profound, with opposite results of what it supposedly set out to accomplish. Far from making for an open world, in their naive tangents assuming governments are going to be more openness, it made for a much more closed one.

What Wiki Leaks had accomplished, and is still presently doing is sowing distrust and paranoia. As a result, people will become less willing to express themselves openly. Humans will be less eager to express viewpoints openly in cases; as what they say is taken down by their interlocutor, and used as evidence against them.

Which leads one to conclude when writing the other day that Wiki-Leaks was destructive: There will be more distorting the distinction of public and private spheres of what is to be disclosed by governments. This was probably one of Assange's intents. Not to mention, totalitarianism governments routinely conduct the same sort of things Wiki-Leaks had committed, in opening other people's e mails, letters, and memos.

As an end result Wiki-Leaks had assumed the role of censor to the world. This is the role of crass moral grandiosity and arrogance. Even if some evil is exposed, it still does not justify the recklessness of Wiki-Leaks.
