Citizens of the World: Call to Action
Hypocrites. You see them on television, you hear them on the radio. They are on the internet and they call you on the phone. The truth is, you cannot be a Christian on Sunday only. To be a Christian is not listening to some sermon once a week. To be a Christian, you live by the words of Jesus and today - Anonymous is challenging Christians to live by the words of your saviour and help those in need.
This is not a politically motivated operation. This is not a bigot fest. We believe Muslims, Judaists, Pagans, Buddhists, Satanists, and even Athiests should hold to the daily values of Human Compassion and Community respect. We recognize the need for help in the Southern portion of the United States and we call upon all religions at this time to help. This is your call to action.
Christians: WHAT WOULD JESUS DO if he saw all those children without a place to sleep because of the storms - the 300 plus tornadoes that infiltrated so many peaceful lives?
What would you do...if your home was there one day and gone the next? What would Jesus tell you to do in this situation? What would Mohammed say? Moses? The Dalai Lama? ... Your Mother? In the presence of God.
Would they tell you to stand idly by watching a Royal Wedding?
Would they tell you to buy a starbucks coffee drink while others suffered?
Ask yourself, "What would Jesus Do?" "What would Mohammed Do?" "What would Moses do?" "What would The Dalai Lama Do?" Would they turn to one another and condemn each other for what they are or would they seek comfort in their wisdom to bring compassion to those in need? Ask yourself "What will I do?"
In the bible, Jesus says:
"Do Not Resist the Evil Person"
-Matthew 5:39
This means if you are scared of being scammed, you should fear not because it's not the scam that matters. It's what's in your heart that matters. Anonymous is not about scamming and you may not agree with some of the things that we engage in. Do not resist the evil person - and do what your saviour would want you to do: Donate to and help the Southerners of the United States of America. If you can not find it in your heart to turn to Anonymous, turn to the religious building closest to you and ask to meet together to form your own community net work. Either way, our own people must know they are not alone.
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
"Then he will say to those on his left, "depart from me, you who are cursed - into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels for I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. I was a stranger and you did not invite me in. I needed clothes and you did not clothe me..."
They will also answer, "Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes, or sick...and did not help you?"
Truly, I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these you did not do for me.

Jesus told his disciples that surely God knows when a sparrow falls and he knows the number of the hairs on your head. How would he not know or care about those suffering? How would he not know what you've done to help - regardless of the cause of their suffering?
God does not promise a perfect world - he does not promise that there will not be suffering. Jesus clearly shows in the above scripture that we are all brothers and sisters and we have all sinned. We all deserve help from those capable.
Too often it is those the most capable of helping who offer the least help. The story of the Good Samaritan comes to mind. The story of the Widow's Might comes to mind. In this story, the widow had very little to offer, but gave freely of what she had. Her donation (even though it was very small) was a great sacrifice to her while others around her who had much greater means donated more than she did. Their donations amounted to very little sacrifice.
Clearly throughout the New Testament, Christians are tasked with giving freely of what they have to help ease the suffering of their brothers and sisters. It's time for you to do what Jesus would do.
We have all sinned and we are all damned to hell. It is by the grace of Jesus Christ that we will enjoy eternal salvation. What would Jesus Do? If he would help - shouldn't you?

ideas for operation
1, hi jack your local churches sermon tomorrow explain the need motivate to donate and organize fund raisers presstorm has volunteered time and other resources presstorm is volunteers who else will step to the plate?
2 the reason for the operation is churches and non profits alike have been hanging up on our volunteers not even allowing them to explain the cause , as well as responding they only help there own . enough is enough !
3. CALL your neighboring religious building. There are people in there. Just like there are in yours. They are your neighbors. If one church can send water, two can send water and nutrition bars. Three can make the donation collections, sorting, packing and delivery go three times as fast. Three churches with a truck load meeting with another group five hours down the road makes six churches and two truck loads. Eventually, the people with no homes and no hope will have baskets of fishes and loaves.

a. Letter writing to family, friends, and community members
b. Making a presentation at family church and asking for one Sunday’s collection to be given to alternative break

a. Tin Can Raffle: Students donate services (baby-sitting, lawn mowing, house cleaning, etc.) and gather donations from local businesses. Each item to be raffled off receives a tin can. People buy raffle tickets and place tickets in the item cans. Then a drawing is held. St. Mary Magdalen holds this event at their annual Parish Picnic, and it usually raises over $1000.
b. Monthly Bottle/Can Drive. Donations dropped off at church.
c. Spud Night (Potato Bar). Lots of work but profitable. A committee is formed and gets donations of food, advertises the event, and sets up. This is another version of the spaghetti dinner. Students wear NRN shirts and mingle about the room, telling diners about past and upcoming trips.
. Sell $20 discount/coupon card for local business--Main Street Motors--a few weeks out of the year. Main Street Motors gives all proceeds back to church.
c. Youth have sold Little Caesar’s Pizzas in the past, but sometimes the amount of work put in is more than the money raised.
• Letter-writing to friends and relatives (use NRN sponsorship form or NRN sample letter as a template). Always include a self-addressed stamped envelope so donors can send donation to you. Send thank-you note immediately after receiving donation.
• Submit Press Release to local paper (use NRN sample press release as a template). Include fundraising request information.
• Community Night Out--many restaurants, local and franchise, are willing to donate a percentage of one night’s profits if school or church group do the advertising (e.g. Pizza Hut, Noodles & Co., Fazolis)
• Raffles--find local businesses to donate goods to raffle off to school/church community.
• Approach local businesses, preferably where you already shop, for pledges.
• Solicit Alumni (works best for college students).
• Car Washes
• Garage/Yard Sales--advertise it as a charity fundraiser.
• Create a twist on the fundraising thermometer idea. Post a map of the United States somewhere central. Put a picture on your town and one on the destination of your NRN trip. Tell people your fundraising goal. Divide this goal by the number of miles needed to travel. For example, a group of 35 students will cost $14,000 and the trip will be 800 miles. So for every mile, you roughly need to raise about $2. Create a bus-shaped token that will move a mile along the route every time a $2 donation is given. When the bus gets close to the destination, use this as an incentive to ask for donations one more time
